Hi! I'm Kat. I'm new to this forum, so I thought I'd write in and introduce myself. I'm a 15-year-old American Lemonator fan. Other musical interests of mine are The Crash, Daisy, The Beatles, Michael Penn, Since November, Boomhauer and Egotrippi. As you can tell, I'm a big Turkurock fan. I speak small amount of Finnish, but not enough to ever attempt to venture into the Finnish sections of these boards. I look forward to chatting with you all here!! ;D ;D

Hi Kat, nice to meet you here though it's much more quiet in here than in sugared, don't you agree? Hmmm I was wondering if there were any more fine finnish bands you haven't yet heard about. The only one occurring my mind is Ronnie Starr, from Helsinki they are though.

Yes, it's very quiet here, especially when you're used to the craziness of sugared.org. But maybe it'll get a bit crazier here someday. And sure, there's *LOTS* of Finnish bands I don't know of. For example, I've never heard of Ronnie Starr (although now that you've mentioned them to me I'll check them out). Silly thing is, not only do I love some Finnish music, but I've also managed to develop a hatred for some. But I do know lots. ;D Thanks, everyone, for the welcomes. ;D

Another Finnish band you just need to check out is Lapko. No albums yet, only EPs. For info check www.lapko.com

Great! I visited Lapko's website just now, no soundclips... Haven't had a chance to listen to the other bands mentioned here. My great-grandmother passed away on Tuesday, so I've been very busy the last 4 days. I'm back now, though. ;D I just got my copy of Secret Crush Records' 'Stamp Collecting...For Beginners' which has some Finnish bands on there. At least Since November (which is the reason I bought it ), Ultrasport, and Bridget. I haven't had a chance to listen yet, but those three bands are all great ones worth a listen if you're not familiar with them.

You just can't lose the sugared people in these web circles. Hello Kat. Hello Kettu. ;D And hello to everyone on the Lemozine forum!
Funny how few members this forum has. I thought, it'd be much more packed before I first entered.

Hello kettupien! Sounds like, being little sis now, huh? I have this theory, there are certain phases in life people are interested in writing/reading forums, and after that it fades. Also any changes tend to scare people away (e.g. from guestbook to forum). And interested kyyläs might be members of some other forum?

;D Yeah. Hello, my dear virtual big sis! Sugared is spreading like wildfire, indeed... if you can call a few members here and there a wildfire. Anyway, it's nice being networked up to some extent. Kyyläs should join say I. But it seems to be true that interest in certain forums changes during time. I've already in my short life left forever quite a few forums already. But right now, I couldn't imagine leaving totally e.g. sugared - I hope Lemozine would develope for me in the same way. You know, at least a few visits now and then.

Forums were my thing in 1998-99 and I think they would still be, if I just had the time and internet at home.
